3RD TRIMESTER!! (WEEK 28)
The third trimester officially starts tomorrow! Can't believe I'm already 2/3 of the way there! It seemed time was moving so slowly for the first few months...I wanted to know what we were having--I was ready to start showing--I couldn't wait to feel the first kicks. Well now, I've begun to feel I'm on a fast moving freight train with no brakes. I'm getting bigger everyday and her due date is fast approaching!!
But the last few weeks have been a lot of fun. These are the times I have been looking forward to in pregnancy...the nursery is almost done, I recently registered at Babies R Us and Target, and I've started to do a little shopping for baby clothes. Knowing myself, i will have everything done pretty soon then I'll have 10 weeks to just sit around and wait! But that's okay...I can catch a glimpse of the future and I'm well aware of the luxury I currently have to just lay down and take a nap or sit and watch two hours of TV uninterrupted.
Hope everyone is well...pics of the nursery to follow in the next couple of weeks!

THREE PREGOS (WEEK 24)
THREE PREGOS...My friend Tammi had her baby shower the weekend before last and three of us there are all expecting in the coming months. First in the picture is me due 8/6, then Christina who is due 7/26 and finally Tammi who is due around 5/15. It's funny cause Tammi reports back to us all of the experiences she is having from upcoming doctor visits to hospital tours. When Christina and I go for our monthly checkups and the doctor asks if we have any questions...we just sit back and say no, thanks, I think we have everything covered. :) It's nice to have others around going through this same crazy experience.
Not much else to report right now. 24 weeks down, 16 to go. All continues to go well!

THE NURSERY HAS BEEN DECIDED (WEEK 22)
Although I had three ideas for a girl's room earlier on, my final decision is still different from my original postings. I've never been a huge fan of pink but I love purple. Basically, I hope Maddie likes purple and flowers cause she will have lots of it!! haha This bedding along with a white crib, changing table and rocker have been ordered. We have plans to paint the room and install chair molding by the end of the month. I can't wait to get it all together!

BABY BUMP IS EXPANDING (WEEK 21)
Well, we're just over the half way point now and I'm finally starting to show. I never thought I'd be so ready and willing to gain weight but I really like the fact that I'm growing...as I grow so does Maddie and we're that much closer to meeting her! I'm still in the in-between stage where my regular clothes aren't fitting but maternity clothes are a bit big. Overall, I've been feeling pretty well. I still get tired easily and have been napping more than ever in the last few months. Overall, I think I have been very lucky with having an easy pregnancy. I guess we'll revisit these remarks when I'm 9 months pregnant in July in Central Texas!

WE'RE HAVING A GIRL!! (WEEK 20)
We just got back from our 20 week appointment and ultrasound and confirmed that we're having a girl! Baby Musgrove is now Madeline (Maddie) Layne Musgrove! We are very excited! The due date is still set for August 6th and all the measurements are normal.
I've also started to feel her kick in the last couple of weeks. I can tell she is getting stronger everyday. In fact, you can already feel her from the outside as well. Last night Chad put his cheek up to my belly and she socked him one right to the face. It was pretty funny.
I'm going to try to upload the video but have had a lot of trouble. I'll see if I can get it posted in the next day or two. Hope everyone is well! Lots of Love--The Musgrove Family

SOME DAYS, I CAN RELATE! (WEEK 19)
PREGNANCY: The best reason in the world to feel so crummy! I read this in a card the other day and it is so true. Of all the little side effects and symptoms pregnancy brings on, mood swings have reared their ugly little head in my life recently.
Most days it might be just a quick spell of frustration or an overwhelming feeling of sentimentality. Some days, it comes and goes but occasionally, I'll have a day where it is all I can do to get through work and come home to flop down on the couch. Exercise?!?! yeah right. For someone who was pretty consistent with yoga, jogging and kick boxing classes, that has gone out the window most days. But, I know I will return to my old self soon enough and in the meantime, I can't think of a better reason to have such moody days.
